Managing Session Components


The Session Components page lets you view, organize, and adjust the pages parents move through during session registration. This page acts as a central hub for building and fine-tuning the registration experience for this session.

  • Each component represents a page parents will move through from selecting a session through checkout.

 

Managing Session Components

Take the following steps to manage Session Components for a session:

  1. Click Sessions to open the Sessions Dashboard.
  2. Click the session you wish to manage.
  3. Click the wrench.png Components tab at the top of the session.

  4. Click, hold, and drag the grip-dots-vertical-solidgray.pnggrip handle on the left side of a Component to rearrange the order of Registration Pages. (Insert screenshot highlighting the move handle)
  5. Click Add Components and/or Add Forms at the top of the list to add other elements to your Registration Process.
  6. Click on the Component to expand and manage it.
    • Select Preview to view what that page looks like on the public registration side.
    • Select Remove to take this Component out of the Registration process.
       

Additional Registration Items

Sessions have additional functions that do not affect the Registration Pages. These functions can be added or removed by taking the following steps:

  1. Click Add Items under Additional Items.
  2. Click on the function you wish to manage.
  3. Check the box(es) for the functions you’d like to add or uncheck the boxes of functions you’d like to remove.
  4. Click the button to ADD SELECTED.

 

  Tip

  • Some components, such as Custom QuestionsMemberships, or Activities, may appear before you have used those tools elsewhere in UltraCamp.
  • After testing a public registration, return to this page to adjust the sequence if the order of questions or pages does not feel logical.

 

 

Components Detail

An explanation of each Component is listed below.

 

Activities

When an Activity Group is attached, this page lets your clients pick their schedule from the list you provide.

 

Alternate Contacts

This page prompts the client to add contacts in case the Primary and Secondary Contact cannot be reached.

 

Confirm Attendee

This page appears during registration to prompt the client to update and confirm the attendee’s biographical information.

 

Confirm Primary Contact

This page appears during registration to prompt the client to update and confirm their contact information.

 

Discounts

Discounts reduce the cost of a session and come in several varieties In order to function automatically, they must be added to the session and be present in the Registration Pages.

 

Lodging

Attaching a Lodging Group to this session lets you assign attendees to groups/units, or it can permit them to choose their own.

 

Medications

This page requests current medication information for the attendee.

 

Membership

If you add Membership questions to this component, this page will prompt for Membership information about the attendee.

 

Pickup Authorization

This page will request (or require) pickup authorization information for the attendee.

 

Session Custom Questions

If you connect Custom Questions to this component, this page will prompt the client to answer those questions.

 

Store Deposit

This page will prompt clients to add money to the Attendee or Family store account as well as specify how any leftover store monies should be dealt with.

 

Online Forms

Online Forms are custom to your organization. If added to the Registration Pages, clients will be prompted to complete the form.

An explanation of each Component is listed below.

 

Add On Fee

Session Add On Fees are additional fees that can be added directly to a reservation. These fees can be either added automatically or added manually by an administrator.

 

Payment Plans

Payment plans allow the automatic collection of funds via credit card or ACH on a predefined schedule. 

 

Upsell Item

You can promote specific sessions and online store products using the Upsell Items or Featured Products function. Items marked as Featured or for Upsell will appear on a distinct page right before checkout, along with a link to add that item to their cart. 

 

Prerequisite

Prerequisites can be used to restrict who can register for a specific session. If someone selects a session with a prerequisite but does not mean its requirements, they will not be able to complete the registration. 

 

Process

A set of one or more tasks that will automatically add to anyone registering for this session. Tasks are used for tracking actions that are taken outside of UltraCamp but important to camp function.

 

Required Form Tracking

If you need to track whether a form is up-to-date and complete, use this function to improve reporting and make it easier.

 

Preorder Template

Preorder Templates allow a single registrant to reserve multiple spaces in a session on behalf of other accounts. Those accounts can then proceed to register for the reserved spaces.

 

Alternate Fee Structure

Alternate Fee Structures can change the fee structure or collection amount for sessions based on a predefined trigger.

 

Aggregate (Sessions)

Session capacities can count towards a single session Aggregate limit to make certain the combined capacity isn’t exceeded.

 

Registration Passwords

You can restrict access to session registration through the use of passwords.
