Multi-week / Sibling Discount Templates

To manage Multi-week Discount Templates, you can take the following steps:

1. Open the Mega Menu and expand the Templates section.
2. Under the Discounts section, click Multi-week / Sibling.
3. Click New to create a Multi-week Discount Template or click on an existing one to edit it.

By default, UltraCamp will display your enabled Multi-week Discount Templates. You can also display disabled templates by checking the box to “Show disabled items” in the upper right. Discount Templates can be enabled and disabled when edited.

• An existing Multi-week Discount Template will be displayed along with overview information. 
• Each Discount Template will display with its default Amount, the number of Required Reservations to trigger the discount, and how many different individuals on an account are needed to qualify (Required People).
• Each Discount Template will display any Range Type along with the specifics of that Range and the terms the discount range will Sort By.  

Creating and Editing a Multi-week / Sibling Discount Template

When creating and editing Simple Discount Templates, there are two tabs:

• Settings: Determine your forms behavior here.
•  Utilization: Shows where the discount has been scheduled.

To create a new template or edit an existing one, take the following steps:

1. Click NEW to create a new Template or click on an existing discount template to edit it.
2. Enter Basic Information for the discount.
   • Enter a Discount Name.
   • Enter a default Amount and indicate the discount type (Dollars Per Reservation or Percent)
3. Enter the Approval Settings.
   • Use the dropdown menu to indicate if triggering this discount Requires more than one individual be registered. (If ‘Yes,’ indicate how many Distinct Individuals Required.)
   • Enter the number of Reservations Required to trigger the discount. (You may need to indicate if this is Per Person or Per Account.)
   • Use the dropdown menu to indicate which reservations this discount should Apply To.
4. Click SAVE.

Once your template is saved, it will display alpha-numerically in the list of existing Multi-week Discount Templates.

Multiweek Discount Terms and Settings

Below is a detailed description of each of the settings on Multi-week / Sibling Discount Templates:

Basic Information

Several of these settings are required. Enter optional information as desired:

• Name: This setting is required. It will appear to the client in several places, including the cart and reservation detail.
• Amount: This setting is required. The value you enter here will be the default discount amount when you add this discount to a session.
  • The exact discount value can be adjusted on a session-by-session basis.
  • This template can calculate as either a Percent or a Dollars Per Reservation discount.
  • The type of discount (dollar or percent) cannot be tailored per session.
• Allocation Account: [Optional] Select from the dropdown list for more granular financial tracking.
• Description: [Optional] text entered here will appear to the public on the Discounts page in the registration page and on the registration information page.

Approval Settings

Several of these settings are required. A couple of these settings will only appear under certain Approval Setting conditions.  Enter optional information as desired:

• Requires more than one individual: This setting Select Yes if you need two or more different people registered for sessions in order to trigger this discount. You will then need to designate how many Distinct Individuals Required.
• Reservations Required: The number entered here determines how many reservations are necessary to trigger this discount.
• Distinct Individuals Required: [Conditional] If you indicate that more than one individual is required for this discount, you’ll need to indicate how many different individuals are required to trigger this discount.
• Apply To: This determines how the discount is applied when triggered.
  • All Reservations: The specified amount will apply to all reservations that meet the approval settings.
  • Reservations in Range: This discount will only apply to certain reservations that meet the approval settings. You can determine the order and which reservations receive the discount with the Start With, Include Through Reservation, and Sort With menus.
• Start With and include Through Reservation: [Conditional] Use these dropdown menus to indicate which reservations or individuals should receive the discount.
• Sort By and Sort Order: [Conditional] Use these dropdown menus to determine how to order the reservations. This will work in conjunction with the Start With and Include Through Reservation menus to determine which reservations receive this discount.

Additional Settings

These settings control additional discount functionality.

• Seasonal Maximum Discount Across Reservations: You can limit the amount this discount can give to an individual or account over the course of a season.  This will prevent an individual or account from receiving a greater discounted amount than what you specify with the dropdown menu and data field.
• Enable this Template: This setting defaults to ON. Toggling this OFF will hide it from being scheduled by your admin team.
• Display to public in the registration process: This setting defaults to ON. Toggling this OFF will hide this from the public during the registration process.
• Display on the session information page: This setting defaults to OFF. Toggling this setting ON will show this discount along with its description on the Session Detail page on the public side.

Example Multi-week Discount Templates

Since Multi-week Discounts can cover a variety of scenarios, here are some example templates:

Second Session Example

With the following setup, the Multiple Session Discount offers $250 off the second session if a single individual makes a reservation for two or more sessions.  However, they only get the discount on the second session (and not subsequent sessions).

• Name: Second Session Discount
• Amount: 250 Dollars per reservation
• Description: Sign up this individual for a second week and automatically get $250 off that week.
• Requires more than one individual:  No
• Reservations Required: 2
• Apply to: Reservations in Range
• Start With: Reservation 2
• Include Through Reservation: All
• Sort By: Session Begin Date
• Sort Order: Ascending 

Sibling Discount Example

With the following setup, the Sibling Discount is supposed to offer 5% off for each individual if a family signs up more than one child.

• Name:  Sibling Discount
• Amount:  5 Percent
• Description: Sign up more than one child to automatically receive 5% off each reservation.
• Requires more than one individual: Yes
• Reservations Required: 2 Per Account
• Distinct Individuals Required: 2
• Apply to: All Reservations
