Background checks are managed on the Background Check page. From here, you can order a background check for any registered adult within UltraCamp. You can also track the background check process, trigger reminders, and jump to results.

- Open the menu and select Tools.
- In the Background Checks section, click Submit / View.
Background Check page
The Background Checks page has two major functions:
- To make new background check orders
- To manage existing background check orders
By default, you will see existing and expired orders, but you can switch between them by using the navigation buttons at the top or bottom of the page.
Make New Orders
To order new background checks, take the following steps on the Background Check page:

- Click the New Order button.
- [Optional] Use the Filters section to narrow or adjust the list of potential applicants.
- Check the Select box next to any applicant you’d like to order a background check for.
- Click the Submit button.
This will initiate the background check process for the selected individuals. You will now be able to track the progress of these orders on the main Background Check page.
Review and Manage Orders
Orders that have been made will display along with tracking information for each Order. You can also cancel an order or copy an order's unique link for follow-up and communication purposes.
The following information is displayed here:

- Applicant – This will name the individual the background check is for along with their email address.
- Package – The level of background check requested
- Status – The current step being undertaken in the background check process and the date of the latest update to the process.
- Ordered – The date this background check was requested
- Modified – The most recent date of any modifications to the order
- Results – A File # for reference in troubleshooting and a link for accessing the results when the check is complete
- Cancel - Use this button to cancel any order that is still in the Pending status.
- Copy Link - Use this button to copy the unique order link to your device's clipboard. You can then paste this into correspondence for communication purposes.
You can adjust which orders display using the filters at the top of the page.

- Enter text in the Filter field to narrow search for matches in any data field.
Order Status
The Order Status provides information on where the Background Check is in the process.

- App Pending: An invite has been sent to the applicant. The system is now awaiting their authorization to run background check.
- App Ready: The applicant has authorized the background check, and it is waiting in the holding queue for admin approval to run the background check.
- Canceled: The invitation / background check order has been cancelled.
- Client Message: A message has been sent to the appropriate party that the background check is in process but needs additional information from the client or an admin to proceed.
- Complete: The background check has been completed and results are available.
- Pending: The background check is in process with Veritable Screening.
Expired Orders
When an applicant does not complete their required steps, a background check cannot be completed. After a set amount of time-14 days, by default--UltraCamp will mark the order as “Expired.” Orders that have expired will display in their own section below orders for 30 days.
Expired orders will display with information pertinent to tracking and follow-up.

- Expired – The date the background check was marked as Expired
- Last Notified – the date of the last notification sent to the Applicant
- Notifications Sent - indicates how many
