UltraCamp offers several built-in functions to support your handling of medical information. With UltraCamp’s Health settings, you can:
- Collect medication information.
- Log the distribution of medications.
- Customize the collection and logging process with additional questions.
Medical Logging
UltraCamp’s Medical Logging feature lets admins record a medical incident within the system while maintaining medical documentation standards.
- Access to medical logs is restricted to admin users with the proper permissions.
- Logged medical incidents are maintained indefinitely.
- Logged medical incidents cannot be adjusted once saved.
When new information should be added or old information adjusted, a second entry must be added. This is the default behavior. However, you can customize this behavior to put a strikethrough on the original entry and add a correcting entry below it.
To change the functionality of Medical Logging to strike through the original entry and display the second entry below it, take the following steps:
- Go to the
Mega Menu and expand the Settings section.
- Click on Logging in the Health section.
- Switch the Allow medical log edits toggle ON.
- Click SAVE.
Medication Settings
UltraCamp’s Medications feature is a very robust tool that lets you collect medication information about your clients and integrates with the Medications logging function for recording the distribution of medications.
Enable the Medications feature by taking the following steps:
- Go to the
Mega Menu and expand the Settings section.
- Click on Medication Collection in the Health section.
- Switch the Enable collection of medications toggle ON.
- Adjust the Medications settings as desired.
- Enable collection of medications: Toggle this setting ON to use UltraCamp’s Medications features.
- Require reason for medication: If this setting is ON, the primary contact must enter text in the dedicated field for explaining the need for a medication.
- Request medication strength: If this setting is on, a field will prompt for the strength of the medication’s dosage.
- Customize Standard Dispensing Schedule: This setting is OFF by default, setting medication dispensing times to Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Bed Time. Switch this toggle ON to customize the time of day for each of the four entries in this schedule.
- Click SAVE.
